BUS SCHEDULE  2008-2009

The following bus schedule is preliminary and may be adjusted based on ridership when necessary.  Please board the bus that covers the route or meet the bus at the designated pick-up points closest to your home.  If you have any questions, please contact:

The time of departure from the bus stops may vary by five minutes. Students should be at the bus stop, ready to board the bus at least five minutes prior to the expected arrival of the bus. This will avoid unnecessary delays for the students further along on the route. Drivers and parents are requested to set their clocks with the WDEV radio time (5.50AM or 96.1FM). WDEV also performs an appreciated public service by announcing route delays that may occur.

KINDERGARTEN AND PRESCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION

 

Preschool and kindergarten students will only be released into the care of a parent or other authorized adult at a designated drop-off point. If the authorized adult is not present to receive the child, the child will be returned to the school, and the parent contacted to arrange transportation for the child.

 

REGULATIONS REGARDING PERSONAL PROPERTY ON SCHOOL BUSES:

 

A student may only bring items that can be carried in a bag and held on the studentÕs lap on the school bus; DOT regulations prohibit items in the aisle. Items that interfere with the personal space of other riders will not be allowed on the school buses. Items that cannot be brought to school on the bus include; skis, ski poles, snowboards, snowshoes, skateboards, ice skates, ice hockey bags, golf bags, and large musical instruments.  Parents will need to arrange alternative transportation for these items.

 

 

Bus #1                 Main Street Waterbury and US RT 2 West                  

 

AM     7:10                 Intersection of RT. 100 & RT 2, head West on RT 2.

Pick up all students on the North side of the road. Proceed to Jenny Davis Rd. turnaround and return to Waterbury Village, picking up

students on the South side of RT 2.  

7:26                 Turn left onto Butler St left onto Intervale, left onto Wallace St. left onto RT. 2.

7:30                 Arrive at Thatcher Brook Primary School

            7:35                 Leave Thatcher Brook Primary School via Stowe Street to CBMS.

7:38                 Rusty Parker Park.

7:45                 Leave Crossett Brook Middle School to Harwood Union High School.

                   

PM      2:15                 Leave CBMS for HUHS with drop offs on RT 100 to Ward Hill turnaround.

2:52                 Leave HUHS with students for Blush Hill, Route 2 West,

TBPS and transfer students for Bus #4 & Bus #6.

 

            3:10                 Stop at TBPS then continue to Blush Hill turnaround at the cove, return to RT 100S to RT 2 West to Jenny Davis Rd. 

 

         

Bus #2                 Waterbury Center & VT Route 100 

 

AM     6:50                 Leave intersection of Guild Hill Road and Barnes Hill Road

up Barnes Hill Road to turn around at 4 corners.

Continue to Mountain View Drive.

7:05                 Turn right onto Guild Hill Road, turn right onto Route 100 North pickups along Route 100.

            7:10                 Enter Spruce Haven and around loop.

7:15                 Enter North end of Gregg Hill Rd. continue along the length of the road back to RT 100

7:22                 Stops along RT 100S at Sunset Dr., Lakeview Terrace, to Stowe St. and TBPS.

            7:35                 Leave TBPS to CBMS

            7:50                 Leave CBMS to HUHS as needed

 

PM      2:25                 Leave CBMS to TBPS with students for  Route 100 North, Laurel Ln.  Stowebury, East Wind Drive (Lea Haven), Lakeview Terrace, Sunset Drive, Evergreen Garden, turn onto Spruce Haven around loop, Ruby Ramon Rd. turn onto North end of Gregg Hill, to Guild Hill & Maggies Way.

                                    Loomis Hill picking up students on South side of the road.

            7:05                 Turn onto Valley View Rd. to Shaw Mansion Rd. back to

                                    Loomis Hill Rd. and return down to Maple St. picking up         

            students on the North side of the road. Left onto Guptil Rd. to RT 100.

AM     7:10                 North on Blush Hill Road picking up students on the East side of the road.

            7:18                 turnaround at Cove, picking up students on the West side of the road.

            7:30                 Arrive at TBPS

            7:35                 Leave TBPS to CBMS

            7:45                 Leave CBMS to HUHS

 

PM      2:15                 Arrive at CBMS for line up.

2:25                 Leave CBMS to TBPS with students for Blush Hill.

            2:35                 Arrive at TBPS

2:45                 Leave TBPS for Blush Hill, turn left onto Lonesome Trail Road, turnaround at West Pinnacle Road. Return to Blush Hill Road and turn left to the Cove turnaround.  Return to TBPS to pick up High School students from Bus #1 and # 9

WATERBURY CENTER

            3:20                 Leave TBPS via Guptil to meet Bus #3 at Waterbury Center Park. Exchange students. Proceed to Maple Street, Mountain View & Barnes

Hill Road.

                                    Turn around at the 4 corners. Right onto Guild Hill.                   

 

                        NOTE    Take Bus #1 or Bus #9 from HUHS to transfer to Bus #4

2:35                 Arrive at TBPS for students to Union Street, Butler-Wallace Loop, Route 2 West.

2:45                 Leave TBPS to Butler, Wallace loop turn right on

Route 2, turn into Little River Rd. (turn around) then continue right on Route 2 to Jenny Davis Rd. turnaround. Return on Route 2.

              7:12                 Turn right on River Rd. straight onto Main St. Duxbury.

7:25                 Arrive CBMS, drop off CBMS students, transfer HUHS students to Bus #10, receive Bus #10 students for TBPS.

                                    NOTE: This Bus will NOT return to CBMS, Main Street Waterbury CBMS students

                                                ride Bus #1, #2, #3, #4, #8 or #23.

7:28                 Leave CBMS for TBPS via Main Street Waterbury.

            7:35                 Right onto Union St. left onto Stowe St.

            7:38                 Arrive at TBPS

3:05                 Leave CBMS with students going to Camels Hump or River Rd. Duxbury beyond the Winooski St. bridge. Proceed to TBPS

 

3:15                 Leave TBPS,  continue to Winooski St. turn right onto River Rd. turn left onto Camels Hump Rd. turnaround at Scrabble Hill Rd.

 

 

Bus #10               Crossett Hill, Duxbury

 

AM     7:00                 Leave Atwood  turnaround. Turn right onto Route 100 North,

            7:04                 Turn left onto Crossett Hill Rd. pickup students on the North side of road.

7:11                 Devlin Rd. turnaround pickup students on the South side of Crossett Hill Rd.

7:23                 Turn  left onto Route 100 North to CBMS.

7:25                 Drop off students for CBMS. Wait for Bus #9, transfer TBPS students to Bus #9.

7:28                 Leave CBMS with HUHS students. 

7:40                 Arrive at HUHS

 

 

Bus #11               Stevens Brook, South Duxbury        

         

AM     7:12                 Leave Dowsville Road turnaround

7:16                 Turn right onto Route 100 South

7:18                 Ward Hill Road turnaround

            7:25                 Turn right onto Stevens Brook Rd. to turnaround past Sydnie Lane.

7:30                 Turn right onto RT 100 North to CBMS

                        NOTE:  Waitsfield Elementary Students from Warren town line to the Eagles Resort ride this bus in the AM. (Bus only stops at WES if WES students are on).

7:40                 Leave Waitsfield School for Harwood Union

            

PM        2:52                Leave Harwood Union for Rt. 100 South of RT 17, Fiddlers Green, Rolston Rd. Butternut Rd., Airport Rd., Warren Store to exchange students

BUS # 20              Moretown & US RT. 2 to Middlesex

           

AM     6:55                 North on Pony Farm Road to Route 100 B North.

            7:02                 Turn left onto Stevens Brook Road, turn right onto RT 100 North                                

7:12                 Turn right onto Cobb Hill Rd. left onto Fairgrounds Rd.

                        Right onto RT 2 East to RT 100B South to Moretown Elementary School.

            7:47                 Leave Moretown School to Harwood Union High School.

3:05                 Leave Moretown Elementary to RT 100B South, right onto Route 100 North,

3:15                 Load  HUHS students, continue North on RT 100, turn right onto Cobb Hill Rd., Fairgrounds Rd., RT 2 East to the Middlesex town line.

            NOTE: The bridge being closed will not impact the majority of this route. While the bridge is closed the bus will turnaround at the landfill and

proceed to MES via RT 100 South then RT 100B North. The pickup times will remain the same.

 

 

BUS # 21              Moretown Mountain

 

AM     7:00                 Leave McGibbons Rd. turnaround on Moretown Mt. Rd. left onto South Hill Rd. to turnaround at Paddy Hill Road.

            7:20                 continue to Hathaway Rd., to Common  Road to

            7:30                 Honan Rd. turnaround proceed back on Common Rd., to Howes Road down Moretown Mt. Rd. to Moretown Elementary  School
