Happy Birthday Ryan Haskins

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CAFE Effective Monday, December 1, 2008, No students will be allowed to charge milk to their lunch account. Students may get one milk with their lunch and any additional milk must be paid for in cash. We realize that this is contradictory to the announcement at the beginning of the year that the cafeteria did not want cash coming through the line, but we have several kids whose lunch accounts are becoming overdrawn due to buying 2-4 extra milks a day, without their parents knowing. Please make sure all students are aware of this new policy.

HANDS OF GIVING In honor of Thanksgiving, the Student Council would like each CBMS Student and Staff Member to make a hand out of colored paper, and yes you can decorate it as a turkey if you would like. Please write as many things that you are thankful for on one side of the paper. Writing your name is optional. The Student Council is going to place them all around the school, hand in hand. Please have the hands done by Wednesday. Place the finished hands in the box in the office labeled "Hands of Giving".

Gifts of Kindness Gifts of Kindness is organized by Harwood Interact Club, sponsored by the Rotary, to help needy families during the holiday season. From Nov. 10th through the 24th, they will be collecting new or nearly new clothing and new toiletries to benefit the homeless shelters and local families. From November 24th - December 5th, they will be collecting new or nearly new toys. If you would like to make a donation to this wonderful cause, there is a drop box in the lobby at CBMS.

Down Hill Ski Program Any students interested in participating in the Down Hill Ski Program at Bolton Valley, there are sign up forms in the office. These forms must be returned no later than Tuesday, January 6th...NO EXCEPTIONS.

PURCHASE YOUR YEARBOOK TODAY! It's time to order your 2009 yearbook! You can order online from the Crossett Brook web site. Click on the CBMS Office Link and look for the icon that says, "order your yearbook now." You can also order the traditional way by picking up an order form in the office and returning it with a check to Mrs. Hempey's office. All checks should be made payable to CBMS. THE NEWSPAPER CLUB THE CBMS TIMES will meet on Thursday, December 4th, from 2:30 Ð 3:45 p.m. in Mrs. SmithÕs classroom. Please note, YOU MUST HAVE A RIDE HOME. We hope to see you there!  We are also looking for creative writing submissions. We need student and parent permission to publish work. Please see co-editors Courtney Shephard and Kate Ireland on the Quest Team to submit work and permission notes. THANK YOU!
